¹³ Howe be it when he is come (I meane the spirite of truth) he wyll lead you into all truth. He shall not speake of hym self, but whatsoeuer he shal heare, that shall he speake, and he wyll shewe you thynges to come. ¹⁴ He shall glorifye me, for he shall receyue of myne, and shall shewe vnto you.

²⁰ So that ye fyrste knowe this, that no prophesye in the scripture hath any priuate interpretacion. ²¹ For the scrypture came neuer by the wyl of man, but holye men of God spake as they were moued by the holy ghoste.

¹⁷ Sanctifye them with the truthe, thy saiyng is truthe,

¹⁰⁵ Nun. Thy woorde is a lanterne vnto my fete and a light vnto my pathes.

¹⁶ For al scripture geuen by inspyracion of God, is profytable to teache, to improue, to amende and to instruct in ryghtuousnes, ¹⁷ that the man of God maye be perfecte and prepared vnto all good workes.

¹¹ So the worde also that commeth oute of my mouthe shall not turne agayne voyde vnto me, but shall accomplysh my wil & prospere in the thinge, whereto I sende it.

¹ In the begynnynge was the worde, and the word was with God, & the worde was God.

¹² For the word of God is quicke and myghty in operacion, and sharper then anye two edged swerde, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding a sonder of the soule and the spirite, and of the ioyntes and the marie, and iudgeth the thoughtes and the ententes of the herte:
