Exodus 6:1-3

1 Jehovah said to Moses: »Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. I will show him my power. He will let my people go! I will show him my power, and he will throw them out of his country.« 2 God spoke further to Moses and said to him: »I am Jehovah. 3 »I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by my name, Jehovah, I did not make myself known to them.

Matthew 6:10

10 »‘Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:33) (Daniel 2:44) (Revelation 11:15) (Psalm 37:10,29) (Acts 24:15)

Ephesians 1:17-19

17 May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit (mental disposition) of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. 18 Have the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the holy ones, 19 and what the exceeding greatness of his power is toward us who believe, according to the operation of his mighty strength.

Exodus 20:1-26

1 God spoke all these words: 2 »I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of slavery in Egypt. 3 »Do not have any other god. 4 »Do not make your own carved idols or statues that represent any creature in the sky, on the earth, or in the water. 5 »Do not worship them or serve them. I, Jehovah your God, am a God demanding exclusive devotion. (I do not tolerate rivals.) I will not share your affection with any other god. I punish children for their parents’ sins to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. 6 »I show mercy (loving kindness) to thousands of generations of those who love me and obey my commandments. 7 »Never use the name of Jehovah your God in a false and evil way. Jehovah will make sure that anyone who is false, evil, careless and vain with his name will be punished. 8 »Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. 9 »You have six days to do all your work. 10 »The seventh day is a Sabbath dedicated to Jehovah your God. Do not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. 11 »Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them in six days. He rested on the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. 12 »Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land Jehovah your God gives you. 13 »Do not murder. 14 »Do not commit adultery. 15 »Do not steal. 16 »Do not (lie) accuse anyone falsely. 17 »Do not covet (desire) another man’s house. Do not desire his wife, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns. 18 The people heard the thunder and the trumpet blast. They saw the lightning and the smoking mountain. They trembled with fear and stood at a distance. 19 They said to Moses: »If you speak to us, we will listen. However, we are afraid that if God speaks to us, we will die.« 20 Moses responded: »Do not be afraid. God has only come to test you and to inspire you to obey him, so that you will not sin.« 21 But the people continued to stand at a distance. Only Moses went near the dark cloud where God was. 22 Jehovah commanded Moses to tell the Israelites: »You have seen how I have spoken to you from heaven. 23 »Do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gold to be worshiped in addition to me. 24 »Make an altar of earth for me. Sacrifice your sheep and your cattle as offerings to be completely burned and as peace offerings. In every place that I set-aside for you to worship me, I will come to you and bless you. 25 »If you make an altar of stone for me, do not build it out of cut stones. This is because when you use a chisel on stones, you make them unfit for my use. 26 »Do not build an altar for me with steps leading up to it. If you do, you will expose yourselves as you go up the steps.«

Revelation 1:8

8 »I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end,« says Jehovah (YHWH) God, »the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty (all ruling) (universal sovereign).« (Isaiah 48:12)

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

16 For the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 We that are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so will we ever be with the Lord. 18 Comfort one another with these words.

John 14:6

6 Jesus proclaimed: »I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through me.

Hebrews 1:1

1 Long ago on many occasions and in many ways God spoke to our fathers through the prophets.

Revelation 13:1-18

1 The dragon stood on the shore by the sea. I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. His horns had ten crowns on them. Blasphemous names were on his heads. 2 The beast I saw looked like a leopard. His feet were like the feet of a bear. His mouth was like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 One of his heads appeared to have had a fatal wound. His fatal wound had healed, and the entire world followed the beast with admiration. 4 Men worshiped the dragon that gave power to the beast. They worshiped the beast, saying: »Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?« 5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to the beast. And authority to act was given to him to continue forty-two months. 6 He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, to slander his name, and his dwelling place, and those who live in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to wage war with the holy ones, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations. 8 All the citizens of earth will worship him, all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life who was slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man can listen, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity. He who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. This requires the patience and the faith of the holy ones. 11 Then I saw another wild beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb and he spoke like a dragon. 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast that came ahead of him. The second beast causes the earth and those who live there to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performed great signs, so that he made fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles he had power to do in the sight of the beast. He says to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast that had the wound by a sword and yet lives. 15 He had power to give breath to the image of the beast and to make that image of the beast speak. He caused many to be killed, those who would not worship the image of the beast. 16 And he forces all persons, the great and the small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. 17 No one could buy or sell without the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of its name. 18 This requires wisdom. Let him that has understanding calculate the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Matthew 16:17

17 Jesus answered him: »Bless you, Simon son of John. This knowledge came from my Father in heaven and not from man.

Matthew 5:8

8 »Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Revelation 1:1-20

1 THE REVELATION GOD GAVE TO JESUS CHRIST, so that he could tell his servants the things that must soon take place. Christ then sent his angel to communicate the symbolic message to his servant John. 2 John testified to the word of God, the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all that he saw. 3 Happy is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and obey the things written in it: for the time is near. 4 John, to the seven congregations in Asia: May you have grace and peace from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness, and the firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood. 6 He made us to be a kingdom of kings and priests to his God and Father. To him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he comes with the clouds. Every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn over him. So it will be, Amen. 8 »I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end,« says Jehovah (YHWH) God, »the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty (all ruling) (universal sovereign).« (Isaiah 48:12) 9 I, John, your brother and companion in tribulation and kingdom and perseverance (patience) of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, because of the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day when I heard a strong voice behind me. It sounded like a trumpet. 11 It said: »Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven congregations in Asia: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.« 12 I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. When I turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands. 13 There was someone like the Son of man in the midst of the seven lamp stands. He was clothed with a garment that reached down to the feet, and girded at the chest with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 His feet were like fine brass glowing in a furnace. His voice sounded like many rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars. A sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth. His appearance was like the shinning sun in full strength. 17 When I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet. He laid his right hand on me and said: »Do not fear. I am the first and the last: 18 »I am alive! I was dead and, behold, I am alive forever, Amen. I have the keys of death and the grave. 19 »Write the things that you have seen and the things that are and the things that will be. 20 »This is the secret of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamp stands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven congregations. The seven lamp stands that you saw are the seven congregations.«

Revelation 19:6-8

6 And I heard as it were the voice of a large number of people, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunder, saying: »Praise Jehovah! For Jehovah our God, the Almighty, reigns. (Psalm 106:48) 7 »Let us be glad, rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife made herself ready. 8 »It was granted to her that she dress in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the holy ones.«

Revelation 10:1-11

1 I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven. He was clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was upon his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. 2 He held a little book that lay open in his hand. He placed his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the earth. 3 And he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven say to me: »Seal up those things that the seven thunders spoke. Do not write them.« 5 The angel I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth raised his hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that are in it, and the earth, and the things that are in it, and the sea, and the things there, that there would be no more delay. 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he will sound his trumpet, the secret of God is finished, just as he declared to his servants the prophets. 8 The voice I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said: »Go take the little book that is open in the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea and upon the earth.« 9 I went to the angel, and said to him: »Give me the little book.« He said to me: »Take it, and eat it up! It will be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will make your belly bitter.« 10 So I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it. It was in my mouth sweet as honey and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11 He said: »You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations, tongues and kings.«
