¹⁹ »Whoever disobeys even the least of the commandments and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. On the other hand whoever obeys and teaches others to obey the Law will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

⁷ or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he who teaches on teaching;

I will mock when your fear comes. ²⁷ »Trouble and distress will surround you like a whirlwind, like a great storm. ²⁸ »You will ask for my help, but I will not listen. You will search, but you will not find me. ²⁹ »You have no use for knowledge and you refuse to respect Jehovah. ³⁰ »You rejected my advice and paid no attention when I warned you. ³¹ »Now you will get what you deserve for what you have done. To discern and understand words. ³ To receive instruction with wisdom, justice, judgment and integrity. ⁴ To give wisdom and refinement to the simple. To the young man knowledge and discretion. ⁵ A wise man will hear and will increase learning. A man of understanding will procure wise counsel. ⁶ This will help him understand a proverb and the interpretation as well as the words of the wise and their riddles. ⁷ Respect for Jehovah (YHWH) is the beginning of knowledge (truth) (understanding) (wisdom). Fools despise wisdom and instruction. ⁸ My son, listen to the instruction of your father. Do not forsake the law of your mother. ⁹ Discipline and education are a graceful ornament on your head, and a golden chain around your neck. ¹⁰ My son, if sinners tempt you do not consent. ¹¹ If they say: »Come with us. Let us lie in wait to kill someone. Let us ambush the innocent without cause. ¹² »Let us swallow them alive and whole just as the grave does, and just as the dead go into the pit. ¹³ »We will find precious material possessions and we fill our houses with plunder. ¹⁴ »Throw in with us. ⁶ We have gifts that differ according to the grace that is given to us. Whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; ⁷ or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he who teaches on teaching;

² »My instruction shall drop as the rain; my words shall descend like dew, as the gentle rains on the tender plant, and as the showers on vegetation.

⁸ Jehovah says: »I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as my eyes watch over you.

¹⁰ According to the gift you have received, minister among yourselves, as good stewards of the increased grace (divine influence) (love) of God.

⁴⁰ »The disciple is not above his teacher. Every one will be like his teacher when he is fully trained.

¹ Many of you should not be teachers, my brothers. You know that we will receive a heavier (stricter) judgment. ² We all stumble in many things. If any do not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able to restrain (control) the whole body.

⁶ Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

⁷ Be an example of good works in all things, showing no corruption in your doctrine. ⁸ Have sound speech that cannot be condemned so the man opposing us may be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.
