³¹ Jesus therefore said to those Jews who believed in him, If ye continue in my word, ye are truly my disciples; ³² and ye will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all impiety and unrighteousness of men, who keep down the truth in unrighteousness. ¹⁹ Because that which may be known of God is manifest within them; for God made it manifest to them. ²⁰ For, ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes, even his eternal power and divinity, being perceived from his works, are clearly seen, so that they might be without excuse.

¹⁷ Faith then cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

²¹ but prove all things; hold fast that which is good; ²² abstain from every form of evil.

² and be not conformed to the fashion of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that ye may learn by experience what is the will of God, what is good, and wellpleasing, and perfect.

³⁶ He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting life; and he that disobeyeth the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave the only begotten Son, that every one who believeth in him may not perish, but may have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God sent not the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that through him the world might be saved. ¹⁸ He that believeth in him is not condemned; he that believeth not hath already been condemned, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

²² And some rebuke when they contend; and others save, snatching them out of the fire; and on others have compassion
