²¹ For prophecy did not come in times of old by the will of man: but holy men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! ³⁴ For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? ³⁵ Or who has first given to him, that he might be repaid? ³⁶ For from him, and through him, and to him, are all things.
