²⁸ And why are you anxious concerning clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they perform no hard labor, neither do they spin; ²⁹ but I tell you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ³⁰ And if God so clothes the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, men of little faith?

¹⁹ because what can be known of God is manifest among them; for God has manifested [himself] to them. ²⁰ For his invisible [attributes] are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being perceived by the things which are made, even his eternal power and deity, so that they have no defense,

¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God. ²⁰ For the creation was subjected to a perishable condition, not willingly, but by him that subjected it, in hope ²¹ that the same creation will be delivered from the servitude of destruction and [brought] into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. ²² For we know that all the creation groans and is in pain till now;
