⁸ Than sayde Iudas vnto Onan: goo in to thi brothers wyfe and Marie her and styrre vp seed vnto thy brother. ⁹ And when Onan perceaued that the seed shulde not be his: therfore when he went in to his brothers wife he spylled it on the grounde because he wold not geue seed vnto his brother. ¹⁰ And the thinge which he dyd displeased the LORde wherfore he slew him also.

⁴ These are the generations of heaven and erth when they were created in the tyme when the LORde God created heaven and erth ⁵ and all the shrubbes of the felde be fore they were in the erthe. ²⁸ Yf a man finde a mayde that is not betrothed ad take her ad lye with her ad be founde: ²⁹ Then the man that laye with her shall geue vnto the damsells father .l. sycles of syluer. And a certayne woman named Martha receaved him into her housse. ³⁹ And this woman had a sister called Mary which sate at Iesus fete and hearde his preachinge. ⁴⁰ And Martha was combred about moche servinge and stode and sayde: Master doest thou not care that my sister hath leeft me to minister alone? Byd her therfore that she helpe me. ⁴¹ And Iesus answered and sayde vnto her: Martha Martha thou carest and arte troubled about many thinges: ⁴² verely one is nedfull. Mary hath chosen her that good parte which shall not be taken awaye from her.
