Luke 14:13-14
Proverbs 1:1-33
1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:"
2 These proverbs are for gaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;
3 To receive the discipline of wisdom, justice, and right, and equity;
4 for giving prudence to the naïve, knowledge and discretion to the young.
5 Let the wise listen and increase their learning; let the person of understanding receive guidance
6 to understand a proverb, and parables, the words and riddles of the wise.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
8 My son, listen to your father's instruction, and do not forsake your mother's teaching:
9 for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck.
10 My son, if sinners entice you, do not comply with them;"
11 If they say: 'Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us lurk for the innocent without cause;
12 Let's swallow them alive like Sheol, and whole like those who go down into the pit.
13 We'll find all valuable wealth. We'll fill our houses with plunder.
14 Throw in your lot with us. We'll all have one purse."
15 My son, do not go along with them, and keep your feet away from their paths!
16 for their feet run to evil. They hurry to shed blood.
17 Look, it is useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds,
18 but these people lie in wait for their own blood. They ambush only themselves.
19 Such is the way of all those who seek illicit gain it takes away the lives of those who possess it.
20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares.
21 At the corner of noisy streets she calleth, at the entrances of gates; in the city she sayeth her speeches:
22 "How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?
23 May you turn to my argument! Behold, I shall pour out my spirit upon you; I will make my words known to you.
24 Because your ears were shut to my voice; no one gave attention to my out-stretched hand;
25 because you neglected all my advice and did not want my correction,
26 I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you,
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come on you.
28 Then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;
29 Since they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD,
30 Consented not to my counsel, disdained all my rebuke,
31 Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with the fruit of their own schemes.
32 for the waywardness of the simple ones will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm."
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Leviticus 19:23-25
23 “'When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.
24 But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, offerings of praise for the LORD.
25 And in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase; I am the LORD your God.
Joshua 1:8
8 This set of instructions is not to cease being a part of your conversations. meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to carry out everything that's written in it, for then you'll prosper and succeed.
1 John 3:17
17 If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For the things in the world--the cravings of the earthly nature, the cravings of the eyes, the show and pride of life--they all come, not from the Father, but from the world.
17 The world and its desires (lusts) are passing away; but he who does the will of God lives forever.
Deuteronomy 15:4
4 However there shall be no poor among you, for the LORD will surely bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it
Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Acts 20:35
35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
2 Corinthians 9:6
6 Consider this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Matthew 6:20
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Luke 12:33-34
Proverbs 22:7

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6
1 Send out your bread on the water, for in many days you will find it.
2 Give a portion to seven, yea even to eight, For you do not know what evil may come upon the earth."
3 If the clouds be full, they will pour out rain upon the earth. If the tree fall to the south, or to the north, in what place soever it shall fall, there shall it be.
4 Whoever watches the wind will not sow; whoever watches the clouds will not reap.
5 Just as you do not know how the path of the wind goes, nor how the bones of a fetus form in a mother's womb, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
6 Sow your seed in the morning and do not withhold your hand in the evening, because you do not know which will prosper, whether this or that, or whether they both will be good alike.
