³¹ Then said Jesus to the Jews who believed on him, If ye continue in my word, ye are my disciples indeed: ³² And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who detain the truth in unrighteousness. ¹⁹ For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them. ²⁰ For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse:

¹⁷ Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

²¹ Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. ²² Abstain from all appearance of evil.

² And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

³⁶ He that believeth on the Son, hath everlasting life: but he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world, to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved thro' him. ¹⁸ He that believeth on him, is not condemned; but he that believeth not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

²² And some, that are wavering, convince; Some save, snatching them out of the fire;
