³¹ Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed on him, If ye will continue in my word, ye are my disciples indeed; ³² And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, and unrighteousness of those men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. ¹⁹ Because that which may be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] to them. ²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

¹⁷ So then, faith is by hearing, and hearing by the Word.

²¹ Prove all things: hold fast that which is good. ²² Abstain from all appearance of evil.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

³⁶ That he who believeth on the Son, may have eternal life: But he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁶ For God hath so loved the world, that he hath given his only begotten Son, that every one who believeth on him, should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son unto the world to judge the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ¹⁸ He that believeth on him shall not be judged: but he that believeth not, is judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
