10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.
Bible verses about "revelation" | Williams
Matthew 6:10
Ephesians 1:17-19
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may grant you the Spirit to give wisdom and revelation which come through a growing knowledge of Him,
18 by having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, so that you may know what the hope is to which He calls you, how glorious rich God's portion in His people is,
19 and how surpassingly great is His power for us who believe, measured by His tremendously mighty power
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
16 For the Lord Himself, at the summons sounded by the archangel's call and by God's trumpet, will come down from heaven, and first of all the dead in union with Christ will rise,
17 then those of us who are still living will be caught up along with them on clouds in the air to meet the Lord, and so we shall be with the Lord forever.
18 So continue encouraging one another with this truth.
Revelation 1:8
8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come, the Almighty.
John 14:6
6 Jesus answered him, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Hebrews 1:1
1 It was bit by bit and in many different ways that God in olden times spoke to our forefathers through the prophets,
Revelation 13:1-18
1 Then I stood on the sand of the seashore, and I saw a wild beast coming up out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on his horns, and blasphemous titles on his heads.
2 The wild beast which I saw was like a leopard, but his feet were like a bear's, and his mouth was like a lion's mouth. To him the dragon gave his own power and throne with great authority.
3 I saw that one of his heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but its mortal wound had been healed. And the whole world was so amazed that they followed the wild beast,
4 and worshiped the dragon for giving the wild beast his authority; they also worshiped the wild beast, and said, "Who is there like the wild beast? Who is there to make war on him?"
5 Then there was given to the wild beast a mouth that uttered boastful, blasphemous words, and permission to wield his authority for forty-two months.
6 Then he opened his mouth to blaspheme against God, His name, and His dwelling place; that is, against those who live in heaven.
7 Permission was given to him to make war on God's people and to conquer them; authority was given to him over every tribe, people, language, and nation.
8 All the inhabitants of the earth whose names, from the foundation of the world, have not been written in the slaughtered Lamb's book of life, will worship him.
9 If anyone has ears let him listen.
10 Whoever leads others into captivity will go into captivity himself. Whoever kills with the sword must be killed with the sword himself. In this way will be shown the patient endurance and the fidelity of God's people.
11 Then I saw another wild beast coming up out of the land. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
12 He exercises the full authority of the first wild beast in his presence; he makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
13 He performs great wonders; even makes fire come down out of heaven to earth before men's eyes.
14 He leads the inhabitants of the earth astray because of the wonders he is permitted to perform in the presence of the wild beast, telling the inhabitants of the earth to erect a statue to the wild beast that bears the sword-thrust and yet has lived.
15 Permission has also been given him to impart life to the statue of the wild beast so that it can speak, and to have all who do not worship the statue of the wild beast killed.
16 And he makes all, great and small, rich and poor, freemen and slaves, have a mark stamped on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17 and he permits no one to buy or sell anything unless he bears the mark; that is, the name of the wild beast or the number that represents the name.
18 Here is scope for wisdom! Let anyone who has the mental keenness calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is the number of a certain man; his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
Matthew 16:17
17 Then Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for it is not man that made this known to you, but my Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:8
8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Revelation 1:1-20
1 A revelation given by Jesus Christ which God gave to Him, to make known to His slaves what must very soon take place. He sent and communicated it through His angel to His slave John,
2 who testifies to what he saw, the message of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the man who reads them and the people who hear the messages of this prophecy read, and heed what is written in it, for the time is near.
4 John to the seven churches in Asia: spiritual blessing and peace to you from Him who is and was and is to come, and from the seven spirits that are before His throne,
5 and from Jesus Christ the trustworthy witness, the First-born of the dead, and the Sovereign of the kings of the earth. To Him who ever loves us and once for all released us from our sins by His blood,
6 and has made us a kingdom of priests for His God and Father: to Him be glory forever. Amen.
7 See! He is coming on the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even the men who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will lament over Him. Even so. Amen.
8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come, the Almighty.
9 I, John, your brother and companion with you in the trouble, the kingdom, and the patient endurance which Jesus gives, found myself on the island called Patmos, for preaching God's message and testifying to Jesus.
10 On the Lord's day I was in the Spirit's power, and I heard a voice like a trumpet behind me say:
11 "Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea."
12 I turned to see who it was that was speaking to me, and as I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
13 and among the lampstands One resembling the Son of Man, wearing a robe that reached to His feet, and with a belt of gold around His breast.
14 His head and hair were as white as white wool, as white as snow. His eyes were like coals of fire;
15 His feet were like bronze refined to white heat in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters.
16 In His right hand He was holding seven stars, and a sharp, double-edged sword was coming out of His mouth, and His face was shining like the sun at midday.
17 So when I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He laid His right hand upon me and said: "Do not be afraid any more. I am the First and the Last;
18 yea, the ever-living One. I once was dead, but now I live forever and ever. I carry the keys of death and the underworld.
19 So write what you have seen, what is and what is to take place hereafter.
20 The open secret of the seven stars that you have seen in my right hand, and of the seven golden lampstands, is this: The seven stars are the messengers of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
Revelation 19:6-8
6 Then I heard something like the shout of a great multitude and the roar of many waters and the peal of mighty thunders, saying: "Praise the Lord! For the Lord, our Almighty God, has now begun to reign!
7 Let us be glad and shout for joy and give Him glory, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.
8 Permission has been granted her to dress in clean, brilliant linen, for linen signifies the upright deeds of God's people."
Revelation 10:1-11
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was clothed in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, his legs were like pillars of fire,
2 and he had a little book open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
3 and in a loud voice he shouted like the roaring of a lion; and when he had shouted, the seven thunders rumbled.
4 When the seven thunders had rumbled, I was going to write it down, but I heard a voice from heaven say: "Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down!"
5 Then the angel, whom I had seen standing on the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to heaven,
6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and all that they contain, the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains, that there should be no more delay,
7 but in the days when the seventh angel speaks, when he is about to blow his trumpet, then God's mysterious message, in accordance with the good news He gave to His slaves, the prophets, would be accomplished.
8 Then the voice that I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said, "Go and take the little book that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."
9 So I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, "Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey."
10 So I took the little book from the angel's hand and ate it all, and in my mouth it did taste as sweet as honey, but when I had eaten it all, it made my stomach bitter.
11 Then they said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."
