in the Active Voice, to cheer, make glad," 2 Corinthians 2:2, is used everywhere else in the Passive Voice, signifying, "to be happy, rejoice, make merry," and translated "to be merry" in Luke 12:19; Luke 15:23-Luke 15:24, Luke 15:29, Luke 15:32; in Luke 16:19, "fared (sumptuously);" in Revelation 11:10, "make merry."
