1 Peter 4:3-7 For the time past suffices us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in wantonness, lusts, excess of wine, revelings, carousings, and unhallowed idolatries;

ABU⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ For the time past suffices us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in wantonness, lusts, excess of wine, revelings, carousings, and unhallowed idolatries; ⁴ at which thing they are astonished, as ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you; ⁵ who shall give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. ⁶ For to this end was the good news preached also to those who are dead, that they might indeed be judged according to men in the flesh, but may live according to God in the spirit. ⁷ But the end of all things is at hand. Be therefore sober, and watch unto prayer;
