John 15:2-17 Every branch in me that bears not fruit, he takes it away; and every one that bears fruit, he cleanses it, that it may bear more fruit.

ABU⁽ⁱ⁾ ² Every branch in me that bears not fruit, he takes it away; and every one that bears fruit, he cleanses it, that it may bear more fruit. ³ Ye are already clean, through the word which I have spoken to you. ⁴ Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch can not bear fruit of itself, if it abide not in the vine, so neither can ye, if ye abide not in me. ⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, the same bears much fruit; because without me ye can do nothing. ⁶ If any one abide not in me, he is cast forth as the branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever ye will, and it shall be done to you. ⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and ye shall become my disciples. ⁹ As the Father loved me, I also loved you; abide in my love. ¹⁰ If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. ¹¹ These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy be made full. ¹² This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I loved you. ¹³ Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. ¹⁴ Ye are my friends, if ye do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants; because the servant knows not what his lord does. But I have called you friends because all things that I heard from my Father I made known to you. ¹⁶ Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you that ye may go and bear fruit, and that your fruit may remain; that whatever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. ¹⁷ These things I command you, that ye love one another.
