2 H7760 and he hath made H6310 my mouth H2299 like a sharp H2719 sword; H6738 in the shadow H3027 of his hand H2244 hath he hid H7760 me: and he hath made H1305 me a polished H2671 shaft; H827 in his quiver H5641 hath he kept me close:

3 H559 and he said H5650 unto me, Thou art my servant; H3478 Israel, H6286 in whom I will be glorified.

4 H559 But I said, H3021 I have labored H7385 in vain, H3615 I have spent H3581 my strength H8414 for nought H1892 and vanity; H403 yet surely H4941 the justice H3068 due to me is with Jehovah, H6468 and my recompense H430 with my God.

5 H559 And now saith H3068 Jehovah H3335 that formed H990 me from the womb H5650 to be his servant, H7725 to bring H3290 Jacob H7725 again H3478 to him, and that Israel H622 be gathered H3513 unto him (for I am honorable H5869 in the eyes H3068 of Jehovah, H430 and my God H5797 is become my strength);

6 H559 yea, he saith, H7043 It is too light a thing H5650 that thou shouldest be my servant H6965 to raise up H7626 the tribes H3290 of Jacob, H7725 and to restore H5341 the preserved H3478 of Israel: H5414 I will also give H216 thee for a light H1471 to the Gentiles, H3444 that thou mayest be my salvation H7097 unto the end H776 of the earth.

7 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah, H1350 the Redeemer H3478 of Israel, H6918 and his Holy One, H5315 to him whom man H960 despiseth, H1471 to him whom the nation H8581 abhorreth, H5650 to a servant H4910 of rulers: H4428 Kings H7200 shall see H6965 and arise; H8269 princes, H7812 and they shall worship; H3068 because of Jehovah H539 that is faithful, H6918 even the Holy One H3478 of Israel, H977 who hath chosen thee.

8 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah, H7522 In an acceptable H6256 time H6030 have I answered H3117 thee, and in a day H3444 of salvation H5826 have I helped H5341 thee; and I will preserve H5414 thee, and give H1285 thee for a covenant H5971 of the people, H6965 to raise H776 up the land, H5157 to make them inherit H8074 the desolate H5159 heritages:
