2 Peter 3:12-14 προσδοκῶντας (expecting) καὶ (and) σπεύδοντας (hastening) τὴν (the) παρουσίαν (coming) τῆς (of the) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἡμέρας (day), δι’ (by reason of) ἣν (which) οὐρανοὶ (the heavens) πυρούμενοι (being set on fire) λυθήσονται (will be dissolved), καὶ (and) στοιχεῖα (the elements) καυσούμενα (burning with heat) τήκεται (are melting).

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹² προσδοκῶντας (expecting) καὶ (and) σπεύδοντας (hastening) τὴν (the) παρουσίαν (coming) τῆς (of the) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἡμέρας (day), δι’ (by reason of) ἣν (which) οὐρανοὶ (the heavens) πυρούμενοι (being set on fire) λυθήσονται (will be dissolved), καὶ (and) στοιχεῖα (the elements) καυσούμενα (burning with heat) τήκεται (are melting). ¹³ καινοὺς (New) δὲ (however) οὐρανοὺς (heavens), καὶ (and) γῆν (earth) καινὴν (a new), κατὰ (according to) τὸ (the) ἐπάγγελμα (promise) αὐτοῦ (of Him), προσδοκῶμεν (we are awaiting), ἐν (in) οἷς (which) δικαιοσύνη (righteousness) κατοικεῖ (dwells). ¹⁴ Διό (Therefore), ἀγαπητοί (beloved), ταῦτα (these things) προσδοκῶντες (expecting), σπουδάσατε (be diligent) ἄσπιλοι (without spot) καὶ (and) ἀμώμητοι (without blemish) αὐτῷ (by Him) εὑρεθῆναι (to be found), ἐν (in) εἰρήνῃ (peace).
