James 2:15-17 ἐὰν (Now if) ἀδελφὸς (a brother) ἢ (or) ἀδελφὴ (a sister) γυμνοὶ (without clothes) ὑπάρχωσιν (is), καὶ (and) λειπόμενοι (lacking) τῆς (-) ἐφημέρου (of daily) τροφῆς (food),

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁵ ἐὰν (Now if) ἀδελφὸς (a brother) ἢ (or) ἀδελφὴ (a sister) γυμνοὶ (without clothes) ὑπάρχωσιν (is), καὶ (and) λειπόμενοι (lacking) τῆς (-) ἐφημέρου (of daily) τροφῆς (food), ¹⁶ εἴπῃ (says) δέ (then) τις (anyone) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἐξ (out from) ὑμῶν (you), “Ὑπάγετε (Go) ἐν (in) εἰρήνῃ (peace); θερμαίνεσθε (be warmed) καὶ (and) χορτάζεσθε (be filled),” μὴ (not) δῶτε (gives) δὲ (however) αὐτοῖς (to them) τὰ (the) ἐπιτήδεια (needful things) τοῦ (for the) σώματος (body), τί (what is) τὸ (the) ὄφελος (profit)? ¹⁷ οὕτως (So) καὶ (also) ἡ (-) πίστις (faith), ἐὰν (if) μὴ (not) ἔχῃ (it has) ἔργα (works), νεκρά (dead) ἐστιν (is), καθ’ (by) ἑαυτήν (itself).
