54 Ὁ (-) οὖν (Therefore) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) οὐκέτι (no longer) παρρησίᾳ (publicly) περιεπάτει (walked) ἐν (among) τοῖς (the) Ἰουδαίοις (Jews), ἀλλὰ (but) ἀπῆλθεν (went away) ἐκεῖθεν (from there) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) χώραν (region) ἐγγὺς (near) τῆς (the) ἐρήμου (wilderness), εἰς (to) Ἐφραὶμ (Ephraim) λεγομένην (called) πόλιν (a city). κἀκεῖ (And there) ἔμεινεν (He stayed) μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) μαθητῶν (disciples).
