John 18:36 Ἀπεκρίθη (Answered) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Ἡ (The) βασιλεία (kingdom) ἡ (-) ἐμὴ (My) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) κόσμου (world) τούτου (this); εἰ (if) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) κόσμου (world) τούτου (this) ἦν (were) ἡ (-) βασιλεία (kingdom) ἡ (-) ἐμή (My), οἱ (-) ὑπηρέται (attendants) ἄν (-) «οἱ (-) ἐμοὶ (My) ἠγωνίζοντο» (would fight) ἵνα (that) μὴ (not) παραδοθῶ (I might be betrayed) τοῖς (to the) Ἰουδαίοις (Jews). νῦν (Now) δὲ (however) ἡ (-) βασιλεία (kingdom) ἡ (-) ἐμὴ (My) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ἐντεῦθεν (from here).”
