Luke 18:13-14 Ὁ (-) δὲ (But) τελώνης (the tax collector), μακρόθεν (afar off) ἑστὼς (standing), οὐκ (not) ἤθελεν (was willing) οὐδὲ (not even) τοὺς (the) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) ἐπᾶραι (to lift up) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανόν (heaven), ἀλλ’ (but) ἔτυπτεν (was striking) τὸ (the) στῆθος (breast) αὐτοῦ (of himself), λέγων (saying) Ὁ (-), ‘Θεός (God), ἱλάσθητί (be merciful) μοι (to me), τῷ (the) ἁμαρτωλῷ (sinner)!’
