Luke 22:49-51 Ἰδόντες (Having seen) δὲ (then) οἱ (those) περὶ (around) αὐτὸν (Him) τὸ (what) ἐσόμενον (would be), εἶπαν (they said), “Κύριε (Lord), εἰ (if) πατάξομεν (will we strike) ἐν (with the) μαχαίρῃ (sword)?”

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁹ Ἰδόντες (Having seen) δὲ (then) οἱ (those) περὶ (around) αὐτὸν (Him) τὸ (what) ἐσόμενον (would be), εἶπαν (they said), “Κύριε (Lord), εἰ (if) πατάξομεν (will we strike) ἐν (with the) μαχαίρῃ (sword)?” ⁵⁰ καὶ (And) ἐπάταξεν (struck) εἷς (one) τις (a certain) ἐξ (of) αὐτῶν (them) τοῦ (of the) ἀρχιερέως (high priest) τὸν (the) δοῦλον (servant), καὶ (and) ἀφεῖλεν (cut off) τὸ (the) οὖς (ear), αὐτοῦ (his) τὸ (-) δεξιόν (right). ⁵¹ Ἀποκριθεὶς (Answering) δὲ (now), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said), “Ἐᾶτε (Allow you) ἕως (as far as) τούτου (thus)!” καὶ (And) ἁψάμενος (having touched) τοῦ (the) ὠτίου (ear), ἰάσατο (He healed) αὐτόν (him).
