29 ὅτι (For) ἰδοὺ (behold), ἔρχονται (are coming) ἡμέραι (days) ἐν (in) αἷς (which) ἐροῦσιν (they will say), ‘Μακάριαι (Blessed are) αἱ (the) στεῖραι (barren), καὶ (and) αἱ (the) κοιλίαι (wombs) αἳ (that) οὐκ (never) ἐγέννησαν (did bear), καὶ (and) μαστοὶ (breasts) οἳ (that) οὐκ (never) ἔθρεψαν (nursed).’
30 τότε (Then) ‘Ἄρξονται (They will begin) λέγειν (to say) τοῖς (to the) ὄρεσιν (mountains), “Πέσετε* (Fall) ἐφ’ (upon) ἡμᾶς (us),” Καὶ (and) τοῖς (to the) βουνοῖς (hills), “Καλύψατε (Cover) ἡμᾶς (us).”’
31 Ὅτι (For) εἰ (if) ἐν (in) ‹τῷ› (the) ὑγρῷ (green) ξύλῳ (tree), ταῦτα (these things) ποιοῦσιν (they do); ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ξηρῷ (dry), τί (what) γένηται (might take place)?”
