Luke 8:29 παρήγγελλεν (He was commanding) γὰρ (for) τῷ (the) πνεύματι (spirit) τῷ (-) ἀκαθάρτῳ (unclean) ἐξελθεῖν (to come out) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) ἀνθρώπου (man). πολλοῖς (Many) γὰρ (for) χρόνοις (times) συνηρπάκει (it had seized) αὐτόν (him), καὶ (and) ἐδεσμεύετο (he was bound), ἁλύσεσιν (with chains) καὶ (and) πέδαις (shackles) φυλασσόμενος (being kept); καὶ (and) διαρρήσσων (breaking) τὰ (the) δεσμὰ (chains), ἠλαύνετο (he was driven) ὑπὸ* (by) τοῦ (the) δαιμονίου (demon) εἰς (into) τὰς (the) ἐρήμους (deserts).
