Revelation 13:3-10

BIB(i) 3 Καὶ (And) μίαν (one) ἐκ (of) τῶν (the) κεφαλῶν (heads) αὐτοῦ (of it) ὡς (was as) ἐσφαγμένην (having been slain) εἰς (to) θάνατον (death). καὶ (And) ἡ (the) πληγὴ (wound) τοῦ (of) θανάτου (death) αὐτοῦ (of it) ἐθεραπεύθη (was healed), καὶ (and) ἐθαυμάσθη (marveled) ὅλη (all) ἡ (the) γῆ (earth) ὀπίσω (after) τοῦ (the) θηρίου (beast). 4 καὶ (And) προσεκύνησαν (they worshiped) τῷ (the) δράκοντι (dragon), ὅτι (who) ἔδωκεν (had given) τὴν (-) ἐξουσίαν (authority) τῷ (to the) θηρίῳ (beast); καὶ (and) προσεκύνησαν (they worshiped) τῷ (the) θηρίῳ (beast), λέγοντες (saying), “Τίς (Who) ὅμοιος (is like) τῷ (the) θηρίῳ (beast)? καὶ (And) τίς (who) δύναται (is able) πολεμῆσαι (to make war) μετ’ (against) αὐτοῦ (it)?” 5 Καὶ (And) ἐδόθη (was given) αὐτῷ (to it) στόμα (a mouth) λαλοῦν (speaking) μεγάλα (great things) καὶ (and) βλασφημίας (blasphemy); καὶ (and) ἐδόθη (was given) αὐτῷ (to it) ἐξουσία (authority) ποιῆσαι (to act) μῆνας (months) τεσσεράκοντα (forty) [καὶ] (and) δύο (two). 6 καὶ (And) ἤνοιξεν (it opened) τὸ (the) στόμα (mouth) αὐτοῦ (of it) εἰς (unto) βλασφημίας (blasphemies) πρὸς (against) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), βλασφημῆσαι (to blaspheme) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) σκηνὴν (tabernacle) αὐτοῦ (of Him), τοὺς (those) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven) σκηνοῦντας (dwelling). 7 Καὶ (And) ἐδόθη (there was given) αὐτῷ (to it) ποιῆσαι (to make) πόλεμον (war) μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) ἁγίων (saints), καὶ (and) νικῆσαι (to overcome) αὐτούς (them). καὶ (And) ἐδόθη (was given) αὐτῷ (to it) ἐξουσία (authority) ἐπὶ (over) πᾶσαν (every) φυλὴν (tribe) καὶ (and) λαὸν (people) καὶ (and) γλῶσσαν (tongue) καὶ (and) ἔθνος (nation). 8 καὶ (And) προσκυνήσουσιν (will worship) αὐτὸν (it) πάντες (all) οἱ (-) κατοικοῦντες (dwelling) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), οὗ (of whom) οὐ (not) γέγραπται (have been written) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (names) αὐτοῦ (of them) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) βιβλίῳ (book) τῆς (-) ζωῆς (of life) τοῦ (of the) Ἀρνίου (Lamb) τοῦ (-) ἐσφαγμένου (having been slain), ἀπὸ (from) καταβολῆς (the founding) κόσμου (of the world). 9 Εἴ (If) τις (anyone) ἔχει (has) οὖς (an ear), ἀκουσάτω (let him hear). 10 “Εἴ (If) τις (anyone is to go) εἰς (into) αἰχμαλωσίαν (captivity), εἰς (into) αἰχμαλωσίαν (captivity) ὑπάγει (he goes); εἴ (If) τις (anyone) ἐν (with) μαχαίρῃ (the sword) ἀποκτανθῆναι* (is to be killed), 〈δεῖ〉 (it is necessary for) αὐτὸν (him) ἐν (by) μαχαίρῃ (the sword) ἀποκτανθῆναι (to be killed).” Ὧδέ (Here) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) ὑπομονὴ (endurance) καὶ (and) ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) τῶν (of the) ἁγίων (saints).
