BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ²¹ For having known God, they glorified Him not as God, or were thankful; but they became futile in their thinking and their foolish heart was darkened. ²² Professing to be wise, they became fools, ²³ and they changed the glory of the immortal God into a likeness of an image of mortal man and birds and quadrupeds and creeping things. ²⁴ Therefore God gave them up in the desires of their hearts to impurity to dishonor their bodies between themselves, ²⁵ who changed the truth of God into falsehood, and reverenced and served the created thing beyond the One having created it, who is blessed to the ages!
