1 Peter 3:3-5:14

ECB(i) 3 whose cosmos is not outward - of braiding the hair and of wrapping around of gold or of enduing garments: 4 but that secret human of the heart in what is incorruptible - of a meek and quiet spirit which is vastly precious in the sight of Elohim. 5 For thus also in the old time the holy women who hoped in Elohim adorned themselves; subjugating to their own men 6 - as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him adoni: of whom you became children - as long as you do good and are not awestricken of any terror. 7 Likewise men: co-settle according to knowledge; bestow honor as to the frailer vessel and as being co-heirs of the charism of life; that your prayers be not excsinded. 8 In completion/shalom, all likeminded, sympathetic one of another, befriending as brothers, tenderspleened, friendly minded: 9 not giving evil for evil or abuse for abuse - but contrariwise eulogize; knowing that you are called to this - to inherit a eulogy: 10 For whoever wills to love life and see good days, pause your tongue from evil, and that your lips not speak deceit, 11 deviate from evil and do good, seek shalom and pursue it. 12 Because the eyes of Yah Veh are over the just and his ears to their petitions: but the face of Yah Veh is against them who do evil. 13 And who is he that vilifies you, whenever you become mimickers of good? 14 But and if you suffer for sake of justness, Blessed! And neither awestricken by their awesomeness nor be troubled; 15 but hallow Yah Veh Elohim * in your hearts, ever prepared to plead to everyone who asks you a word concerning the hope in you with meekness and awe: *some mss: Adonay Messiah 16 having a good conscience; so that they who slander you as evildoers, who threaten your good behavior in Messiah, shame. 17 For it is better, if Elohim thus wills, that you suffer for doing good, than for doing evil: 18 because Messiah also suffered for sins once - the just for the unjust, to bring us to Elohim, indeed deathified in flesh and enlivened in the Spirit: 19 wherein he also went and preached to the spirits in the guardhouse 20 - who sometime distrusted when once the patience of Elohim awaited in the days of Noach while the ark was a preparing, wherein few - that is eight souls were saved through water: 21 to which baptism, the antitype, now also saves us - not the laying aside of filth of flesh but the question of a good conscience to Elohim through the resurrection of Yah Shua Messiah: 22 who went into the heavens - at the right of Elohim angels and authorities and dynamis being subjugated to him. 4 1
SUBJUGATING TO THE MESSIAH
So as Messiah suffered for us in flesh, weapon yourselves likewise with the same mind: because he who suffered in flesh, paused from sin; 2 to no longer exist his remaining time in flesh to the pantings of humanity - but to the will of Elohim. 3 Enough of the past time of our existence! - working the will of the goyim - walking in lechery, pantings, vinolence, carousings, drinking bouts, and illicit idolatries: 4 wherein they think it strange that you not rush to their effusion of dissipation, blaspheming: 5 who give word to him who is prepared to judge the living and the dead. 6 For to this the dead were evangelized, so that indeed they be judged according to humanity in flesh, but live according to Elohim in spirit. 7 But the completion/shalom of all approaches: so be sound and watch to prayer. 8 And preceding all, have intense love to yourselves: because love veils the multitude of sins. 9 Befriend strangers to one another without murmuring. 10 Exactly as each takes the charisma, minister the same to yourselves, as good administrators of the divers charism of Elohim. 11 If anyone speaks as the oracles of Elohim; if anyone ministers as of the might that Elohim supplies: glorify Elohim in all through Yah Shua Messiah, to whom be glory and dominion to the eons of the eons. Amen. 12
TESTINGS OF FIRE
Beloved, it is not strange concerning the firing in you, to test you, as though somewhat strange becomes you: 13 But cheer, according as you are partakers of the sufferings of Messiah; so that at the apocalypse of his glory you also cheer with jumping for joy. 14 If you are reproached in the name of Messiah, Blessed! - because the spirit of glory and of Elohim rests upon you: on their part he is indeed blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified. 15 Indeed suffer not as a murderer or as a thief or as an evildoer or as overseeing others. 16 Yet if as a Messianist, shame not; but glorify Elohim in this part. 17 Because this is the season that judgment must begin from the house of El: and if first from us, what is the completion/shalom of them who distrust the evangelism of Elohim? 18 And if the just are difficultly saved, where are the irreverent and the sinner manifested? 19 So whoever suffers according to the will of Elohim, commend your own souls in doing good, as to a trustworthy Creator. 5 1
SHEPHERDING THE SHEPHERDDOM
I beseech the elders among you - I a co-elder and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory to be unveiled. 2 Shepherd the shepherddom of Elohim among you, overseeing - not by compulsion, but voluntarily; not for avarice, but eagerly; 3 not as overlording the inheritance, but being types to the shepherddom: 4 so that when the Arch Shepherd manifests, you receive a wreath of glory - amaranthine. 5 Likewise, younger: subjugate yourselves to the elder. Yes, all subjugate to one another and enrobe with humblemindedness: because Elohim opposes the proud and gives charism to the humble. 6 So humble yourselves under the powerful hand of Elohim, so that he exalts you in season: 7 tossing all your anxiety upon him; because he is concerned about you. 8 Sober! Watch! - because your adversary, Diabolos, as a roaring lion, walks around seeking whom to swallow: 9 whom withstand solid in the trust, knowing that the same sufferings are completed/shalamed in your brotherhood in the cosmos. 10 And the Elohim of all charism, who calls us to his eternal glory in Messiah Yah Shua, after you suffer a little, prepare you, establish, invigorate, foundation you. 11 To him be glory and dominion to the eons of the eons. Amen. 12
FINAL SALUTES
Through Silvanus your trustworthy brother, I reckon that I scribed through few words, beseeching and witnessing that this wherein you stand is the true charism of Elohim. 13 The co-select in Babel and Markos my son salute you. 14 Salute one another with a kiss of love. Shalom with all in Messiah Yah Shua. Amen.
