32 So thus says Yah Veh concerning the sovereign of Ashshur: He neither comes into this city nor shoots an arrow there nor precedes it with buckler nor pours a mound against it:
33 by the way he comes, by the same he returns; and comes not into this city - an oracle of Yah Veh:
34 and I garrison this city to save it for my own sake and for sake of my servant David.
35 And so be it, that night, the angel of Yah Veh goes out and smites in the camp of the Ashshuri - a hundred eighty-five thousand: and they start early in the morning, and behold, they are all dead carcases.
