Esther 9

ECB(i) 1
THE DOMINATION OF THE YAH HUDIYM
And in the twelfth month - the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when they touch to work the word and edict of the sovereign - in the day the enemies of the Yah Hudiym expect to dominate over them, it turns out that the Yah Hudiym dominate over them who hate them 2 - the Yah Hudiym congregate in their cities throughout all the jurisdictions of sovereign Achash Rosh, to send his hand on such as seek their evil; and no man stands at their face; for the fear of them falls on all people: 3 and all the governors of the jurisdictions and the satraps and the governors and those working the work of the sovereign, lift the Yah Hudiym: because the fear of Mordekay falls upon them: 4 for Mordekay is great in the house of the sovereign and his fame goes throughout all the jurisdictions; for this man Mordekay walks and greatens. 5 Thus the Yah Hudiym smite all their enemies with the stroke of the sword and slaughter and destruction; and work according to their pleasure to them who hate them: 6 and in Shushan palace the Yah Hudiym slaughter and destroy five hundred men: 7 and Parshandatha and Dalphon and Aspatha, 8 and Poratha and Adalya and Aridatha, 9 and Parmashta and Arisai and Ariday and Vayezatha 10 - the ten sons of Haman the son of Medatha, the tribulator of the Yah Hudiym, they slaughter; but they spread not their hand on the plunder. 11 On that day, they bring the number of those slaughtered in Shushan palace at the face of the sovereign: 12 and the sovereign says to Ester the sovereigness, The Yah Hudiym slaughtered and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan palace and the ten sons of Haman; What work they in the survivors of the jurisdictions of the sovereign? And what is your petition? - and so be it given you; And what is your request again? - and so be it worked. 13 And Ester says, If it is good with the sovereign, give work to the Yah Hudiym in Shushan tomorrow also according to the edict of this day; and hang the ten sons of Haman upon the tree. 14 And the sovereign says to work thus; and gives the edict at Shushan; and they hang the ten sons of Haman. 15 And the Yah Hudiym in Shushan also congregate on the fourteenth day of the month Adar and slaughter three hundred men at Shushan; and they spread not their hand on the plunder. 16 And the survivors of the Yah Hudiym in the jurisdictions of the sovereign congregate and stand for their souls; and rest from their enemies; and slaughter seventy-five thousand of their haters; and they spread not their hands on the plunder. 17 On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same they rest and work a day of banqueting and cheerfulness. 18 And the Yah Hudiym at Shushan congregate on the thirteenth thereof and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth of the same they rest and work a day of banqueting and cheerfulness. 19 So the Yah Hudiym of the courts, settling in the cities of the suburbs, work the fourteenth day of the month Adar cheerfulness and banqueting - a good day of sending portions man to friend. 20
THE DAYS OF PURIM
And Mordekay inscribes these words - and sends scrolls to all the Yah Hudiym in all the jurisdictions of sovereign Achash Rosh - near and far 21 to raise among them, to work the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, year by year, 22 as the days wherein the Yah Hudiym rested from their enemies; and the month which turned them from grief to cheer and from mourning to a good day; to work them days of banqueting and cheer and of sending portions man to friend and gifts to the needy. 23 And the Yah Hudiym undertake to work as they began and as Mordekay inscribed to them; 24 because Haman the son of Medatha the Agagiy, the tribulator of all the Yah Hudiym, had fabricated against the Yah Hudiym to destroy them; and felled Pur - the pebble, to agitate them and to destroy them; 25 and when it comes at the face of the sovereign, he says by scrolls, Return the evil fabrication he fabricated against the Yah Hudiym upon his own head; and hang him and his sons on the tree. 26 So they call these days Purim after the name of Pur. So for all the words of this epistle and for what they saw concerning thus - and which touched to them, 27 the Yah Hudiym rise and take upon them and upon their seed and upon all such as join themselves to them, so that it not pass away - that they work these two days according to their inscribing and according to their appointment year by year; 28 and that these days be remembered and worked generation by generation family by family jurisdiction by jurisdiction city by city; and that neither these days of Purim pass away from among the Yah Hudiym, nor the memorial of them consume from their seed. 29 And Ester the sovereigness the daughter of Abi Hail and Mordekay the Yah Hudiy inscribe with all power to raise this second epistle of Purim. 30 And he sends the scrolls to all the Yah Hudiym, - to the hundred and twenty-seven jurisdictions of the sovereigndom of Achash Rosh, words of shalom and truth, 31 to raise these days of Purim in their appointment, according as Mordekay the Yah Hudiy and Ester the sovereigness raised them; and as they raised for their souls and for their seed, the words of the fastings and their cry. 32 And the edict of Ester raises these words of Purim; and it is inscribed in the scroll.
