Is it time for you - you, to settle in your cieled houses and this house a parch?
And now, thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Set your heart on your ways.
You seed aboundingly, and bring in little; you eat, and you satiate not; you drink, and you intoxicate not; you enrobe, and no one heats up; and he who hires himself out hires to put it into a pierced bundle.
Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Set your heart on your ways:
ascend to the mountain and bring timber and build the house; and please me and honor me, says Yah Veh.
You face aboundingly, and behold, little; and when you bring it home, I puff thereon: Why? - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth because my house is parched, and you, every man runs to his own house:
so the heavens over you stay from her dew and the earth stays from her produce:
and I call a parch on the land and on the mountains and on the crop and on the juice and on the oil and on whatever the soil brings forth; and on humanity and on animals and on all the labor of the palms.
