2 And I looked: and there was a white horse; and he who sat upon him had a bow, and there was given to him a crown; and he went forth conquering, so that he might conquer.
3 And when he had opened the SECOND SEAL, I heard the second living-one, who said, Come!
4 And there went out another horse (which was) red; and to him who sat upon him was given to take peace from the earth, and thus that one another they should kill; and there was given to him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the THIRD SEAL, I heard the third living one, saying, Come, and see! And I saw, and, behold, a black horse, and he who sat upon him had a balance in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice from the midst of the four living-ones, saying, A choenix of wheat for a dinar; and three choenices of barley for a dinar; and the oil and the wine hurt not.
