Haggai 1:2-8 כה Thus אמר speaketh יהוה the LORD צבאות of hosts, לאמר saying, העם people הזה This אמרו say, לא is not עת The time בא come, עת the time בית house יהוה that the LORD's להבנות׃ should be built.

2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר speaketh H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H559 לאמר saying, H5971 העם people H2088 הזה This H559 אמרו say, H3808 לא is not H6256 עת The time H935 בא come, H6256 עת the time H1004 בית house H3068 יהוה that the LORD's H1129 להבנות׃ should be built.

3 H1961 ויהי Then came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H3027 ביד by H2292 חגי Haggai H5030 הנביא the prophet, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

4 H6256 העת time H859 לכם אתם for you, O ye, H3427 לשׁבת to dwell H1004 בבתיכם houses, H5603 ספונים in your ceiled H1004 והבית house H2088 הזה and this H2720 חרב׃ waste?

5 H6258 ועתה Now H3541 כה therefore thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts; H7760 שׂימו H3824 לבבכם H5921 על H1870 דרכיכם׃ your ways.

6 H2232 זרעתם Ye have sown H7235 הרבה much, H935 והבא and bring in H4592 מעט little; H398 אכול ye eat, H369 ואין but ye have not enough; H7654 לשׂבעה H8354 שׁתו ye drink, H369 ואין but ye are not filled with drink; H7937 לשׁכרה but ye are not filled with drink; H3847 לבושׁ ye clothe H369 ואין you, but there is none warm; H2527 לחם H7936 לו והמשׂתכר and he that earneth wages H7936 משׂתכר earneth wages H413 אל into H6872 צרור a bag H5344 נקוב׃ with holes.

7 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts; H7760 שׂימו H3824 לבבכם H5921 על H1870 דרכיכם׃ your ways.

8 H5927 עלו Go up H2022 ההר to the mountain, H935 והבאתם and bring H6086 עץ wood, H1129 ובנו and build H1004 הבית the house; H7521 וארצה and I will take pleasure H3513 בו ואכבד in it, and I will be glorified, H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
