There is one little boy here, who has five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are these among so many?
And Jesus said, Make the men recline. And there was much grass in the place. Then the men reclined, the number about five thousand.
And Jesus took the loaves; and having given thanks, distributed to his disciples, and the disciples to the reclining; and likewise of the small fishes, as many as they wished.
And when they were filled, he says to his disciples, Gather the fragments remaining over, that nothing should be lost.
Then gathered they, and filled twelve baskets of the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over to them having eaten.
