The disciples rejoiced when they saw our Lord. ²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you; just as my Father has sent me, so I send you. ²² And when he had said these things, he gave them courage and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ If you forgive a man his sins, they shall be forgiven to him; and if you hold a manÆs sins, they are held. ²⁴ But Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called the Twin, was not there with them when Jesus came.
