He will miserably destroy them and will rent out his vineyard to other vinedressers who will give him the fruits in their seasons. ⁴² Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, "The stone which the builders rejected, this One has become the head of the corner; this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?" ⁴³ Therefore I say to you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing out its fruits.
