42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. If it is sown in corruption; it is raised up in incorruption.
43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised up in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised up in power.
44 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.
45 So also it has been written, ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’The last Adam is giving-life for our spirit.
46 But the spiritual was not first, but the physical, and thereafter the spiritual.
47 The first man is out of the earth, the terrestrial; the second man, the Lord, is out of heaven.
48 Such-as is the terrestrial, such also are the terrestrial and such-as is the heavenly, such also are the heavenly.
49 And just-as we have worn the image of the terrestrial, we should also wear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now brethren, I say this, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither is corruption inheriting incorruption.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery, We indeed will not all be falling-asleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in the briefest moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the last trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised up incorruptible and we will be changed. 53 For it is essential this corruptible body to be clothed with incorruption and this mortal body to be clothed with immortality. 54 But whenever this corruptible body has been clothed with incorruption and whenever this mortal has been clothed with immortality, then the word that has been written will become so, Death is swallowed up in victory.
