Acts 10:1-4

MLV(i) 1 Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what is called the Italian cohort, 2 a devout man, who feared God together with all his house and doing much charity for the people and always beseeching God. 3 He saw openly in a vision, at approximately the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God who came to him and said to him, Cornelius.
4 But having stared at him and becoming fearful, said, What is it, Lord?
But he said to him, Your prayers and your charity have gone up for a memorial in God’s sight.
