MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ Jesus, knowing that the Father has given all the things into his hands and that he came forth from God and is going to God, ⁴ arose from supper and places aside his garments, and he took a towel and girded himself. ⁵ Thereafter he puts water into the washbasin and began to wash the disciples’feet and to wipe them with the towel in which he was girded.
