Do not destroy that man, on behalf of whom Christ died, with your food. ¹⁶ Therefore do not let your good thing be blasphemed; ¹⁷ for the kingdom of God is not about food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. ¹⁸ For the one who is serving Christ in these things is well pleasing to God and approved by men. ¹⁹ Therefore consequently, we may pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another. ²⁰ Do not tear-down the work of God because of food. All things indeed are clean, but it is evil to the man who eats through a stumbling block. ²¹ It is good not to eat meats, nor to drink wine, nor anything in which your brother stumbles or is offended or is weak. ²² Do you have faith? Have it to yourself in God’s sight! The fortunate one is not judging himself in what he is approving. ²³ But he who is doubting has been condemned if he eats, because he does not eat out of faith, and everything which is not from faith is sin.
