MSTC⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ And he said, "Go and borrow thee in other places, of all thy neighbours, empty vessels — and that not a few. ⁴ And then go and shut the door to thee and to thy sons, and pour out into all those vessels, and put the full always aside." ⁵ And she went from him, and shut the door to her and her sons. And they brought to her, and she poured out. ⁶ And when the vessels were full, she said to her son, "Bring yet a vessel." And he said, "There is no more." And then the oil ceased. ⁷ Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go and sell the oil and pay thy creditor. And live, thou and thy children, off the rest."
