Acts 18:24-19:1

Matthew(i) 24 And a certayne Iewe named Apollos, borne at Alexandria, came to Ephesus, an eloquente man and mighty in the scriptures. 25 The same was informed in the waye of the Lorde, and spake feruently in the spirit, and taught diligently the thinges of the Lorde, and knewe but the baptysme of Iohn only. 26 And the same began to speake boldely in the Synagoge. And when Aquila & Priscilla had hearde him, they toke him vnto them & expounded vnto him the way of God more perfectly. 27 And when he was disposed to goe into Acaia, the brethren wrote exhortynge the disciples to receyue hym. After he was come thethere, he holpe them muche whych hadde beleued thorowe grace. 28 And myghtely he ouercame the Iewes, and that openly, shewinge by the scriptures that Iesus was Christe. 19 1 It fortuned, whyle Appollo was at Corinthum, that Paule passed thorowe the vtter costes and came to Ephesus, & founde certayne disciples
