And the woman was well from that hour. ²³ Now when Jesus reached the official's house and saw the flute-players and the din the crowd were making, ²⁴ he said, "Be off with you; the girl is not dead but asleep." They laughed at him. ²⁵ But after the crowd had been put out, he went in and took her hand, and the girl rose up.
