Murdock⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁷ But Jesus said to them: My Father worketh until now, and I work. ¹⁸ And for this, the Jews sought the more to kill him, not only because he had broken the sabbath, but because he had said of God, that he was his Father, and had equalled himself with God. ¹⁹ And Jesus answered, and said to them: Verily, verily, I say to you: The Son can do nothing, of his own pleasure, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things the Father doeth, these in like manner doeth the Son.
