Acts 18:23-28

Noyes(i) 23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, going through the Galatian country and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples. 24 And a certain Jew, named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught correctly the things concerning Jesus, knowing only the baptism of John. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. But Aquila and Priscilla having heard him, took him to them, and set forth to him the way [of the Lord] more fully. 27 And when he wished to go over into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to give him welcome; and when he was come, he gave much aid to those who had believed through grace. 28 For he publicly confuted the Jews, with power, showing by the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
