Ottley⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁴ Thus saith the Lord of Hosts: As I have spoken, so shall it be, and as I have counselled, so shall it abide, ²⁵ To destroy the Assyrians from my land, and from my mountains; and they shall be trodden down, and their yoke shall be stripped from off them, and their renown shall be stripped from off their shoulders. ²⁶ This is the counsel which the Lord hath counselled against the whole world, and this (is) his hand, which is upraised against all the nations of the world.
