RKJNT(i)
But now God has set the members, every one of them, in the body, as it has pleased him.
And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
But as it is, there are many members, yet one body.
And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
No, those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are the most necessary:
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our unpresentable parts are treated with special modesty,
Of which our presentable parts have no need: but God has composed the body, giving more abundant honour to that part which lacked it:
That there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care for one another.
And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.
And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that workers of miracles, then those with gifts of healing, helpers, administrators, and those who speak in different tongues.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Do all have gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
