RYLT⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael, and said to him, 'Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the prophets, we have found, Jesus the son of Joseph, who is from Nazareth;' ⁴⁶ and Nathanael said to him, 'Out of Nazareth is any good thing able to be?' Philip said to him, 'Come and see.' ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming unto him, and he said concerning him, 'Lo, truly an Israelite, in whom guile is not;' ⁴⁸ Nathanael said to him, 'Whence me do you know?' Jesus answered and said to him, 'Before Philip's calling you -- you being under the fig-tree -- I saw you.' ⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to him, 'Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are the king of Israel.'
