Riverside⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ They were both running, and the other disciple outran Peter and came first to the tomb, ⁵ and stooping he saw the linen cloths lying; but he did not enter. ⁶ Simon Peter came following him and entered the tomb and looked at the linen cloths lying ⁷ and the handkerchief that had been about his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place apart. ⁸ Then the other disciple who had come first to the tomb entered, and he saw and believed. ⁹ For they did not yet know the Scripture that he must rise from the dead.
