Romans 8:34-39

Rotherham(i) 34 Who is he that condemneth? Christ [Jesus] who died?––Nay! rather was raised [from among the dead], ––who is on the right hand of God, who also is making intercession in our behalf? 35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?–– 36 According as it is written––For thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.–– 37 Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that––neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
