Deuteronomy 19:15-19

Thomson(i) 15 One witness shall not be sufficient to testify against a man for any iniquity, or any crime, or any sin, which he may commit. By the mouth of two witnesses, or by the mouth of three witnesses, every thing shall be established. 16 And if a false witness rise up against a man, and accuse him of any crime, 17 the two men between whom is the controversy, shall stand before the Lord, and before the priests, and before the judges, who may be in those days. 18 And when the judges have made a strict examination, if the false witness hath testified falsehoods, and risen up against his brother; 19 you shall do to him as he wickedly thought to do to his brother. thou shalt remove the evil from among you;
