8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron saying, Take handfuls of ashes from the furnace; and let Moses scatter them towards heaven in the presence of Pharao and before his attendants
9 and let there be dust on all the land of Egypt, and there shall be on men and four footed beasts an inflammation; blains oozing forth both on man and beast in all the land of Egypt.
10 So Moses took the ashes of a furnace in the sight of Pharao and scattered them towards heaven, and there was an inflammation with oozing blains both on man and beast,
11 so that the sorcerers could not stand before Moses, because of these boils. For the boils were on the sorcerers and throughout all the land of Egypt.
